Otter Limits Season 3 – What the Heck is That?!?

I wanted to take some time to explain what I meant when I said last night’s episode of Otter Limits was episode 1 of season 3.

I started the Otter Limits podcast back in 2013. The first show aired on June 5, 2013. When I first launched the podcast, it was (mostly) a political podcast. I talked about current events and things going on in politics and did some political commentary. After doing that podcast for a while, I decided to re-name the show Liberty Unfiltered to give it a more political sounding name. I did Liberty Unfiltered for a while and during which launched a new podcast called Off The Record. On that podcast, I played music from bands that were local to Oklahoma. This version of Otter Limits that started in 2013 and ended when it became Liberty Unfiltered is what I am now calling Season 1 of Otter Limits.

The 2nd season, or what I am calling Season 2, only lasted for 4 episodes. It debuted in August 2017. It was referred to as the show about nothing and everything where I essentially talked about whatever the heck I wanted to. I also played music on this show. Some stuff from bands local to Oklahoma and some stuff from non-local bands. As I said, that show only lasted 4 episodes and the last episode of that season aired on 9/27/2017.

Almost 2 years later, I finally got around to re-launching the podcast. The first episode of Season 3 was recorded and launched on 9/30/2019. I designated this re-launch season 3. It will follow, for the most part, the format that season 2 followed with the addition of special guests as often as I can get them on. I will still be talking about random nonsense, whether it be about comic books, movies, TV shows, and other pop culture stuff.  I will still be playing music, both by locals and non-locals and will incorporate some of the musical commentary and news that I had done on the aforementioned podcast Off the Record.

Go check out the first episode here. I hope you enjoy it and continue to listen to the podcast as I run more of them.
