Another Choice for Governor in 2014

Oklahoma has another choice in this year’s gubernatorial election. Joining the incumbent Republican Mary Fallin and state representative Democrat Joe Dorman in the race for the state’s executive office is independent Richard Prawdzienski.

Richard is from Edmond, OK and was born in Brooklyn, New York and served in the Marine Corps until 1967.

Richard is a former chair of the Oklahoma Libertarian Party and is still very active in the organization’s operations.

He ran for Lieutenant Governor in 2010 and also ran for state senate against Clark Jolley in 2012.

Currently he serves as the Vice President for the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He is also a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Here is a link to a video of Richard from when he was running for Lieutenant Governor in 2010:

Richard has said if “…you are sick and tired of the games Republicans and Democrats are playing…” to vote for him “if you want problems fixed at the root instead of a whitewash.”
