WHO: The Oklahoma Libertarian Party
WHAT: State Convention 2014
WHEN: Saturday, March 8, 2014, 4-8pm
WHERE: Pelican’s Restaurant, Midwest City, Oklahoma
Although not officially a recognized political party by the state of Oklahoma due to its antiquated ballot access and election laws, libertarian ideology is alive and strong in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Libertarian Party was founded in 1974.
The Libertarian Party is the only political party that still stands for individual rights and limited government. The Libertarian Party advocates for the individual the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives and the lives of their family and defend their right to live in whatever manner they choose, as long as they are not forcibly interfering with the lives and rights of another.
The Libertarian Party opposes government interference in our lives, both economically and socially and should only serve the public by defending their right to life, liberty and property.
If you would like to get involved with the Oklahoma Libertarian Party, please come to the convention on Saturday, March 8. There will be various speakers talking about different principles of liberty and it will be a great place to meet with and discuss the issues with like-minded individuals.
