Randy Brogdon has officially announced that he is running for Republican nomination for Oklahoma Governor against Mary Fallin. Randy made the announcement yesterday on Christmas Day.
He states that the government of is “too big and too powerful” and that “it spends too much, borrows too much, taxes too much, regulates too much and snoops too much.” He made a promise during his announcement to protect Oklahomans from the overreach of the federal government.
Brogdon, formerly the mayor of Owasso and formerly a state senator, lost the nomination for Oklahoma Governor against Fallin in the 2010 primary but seems to be ready for a re-match.
The Governor’s office refused to comment on his announcement.
Also running for Governor next year are state representative Joe Dorman, and RJ Harris. Both are running for the Democrat Party’s nomination.
