Twinkies Back in Business!

This past November, I wrote an article for the Red Dirt Report titled ‘No More Twinkies?!?’

Today I am happy to report that the Twinkies will return.

According to an ABC NEWS article, ‘Twinkies Return, Hostess Unions Won’t’, Hostess is back in business.

Following the bankruptcy that was forced by unionized workers of the baked goods company, Apollo Global Management, which also owns Pabst Blue Ribbon, purchased the company and is planning on re-opening some of its bakeries, without union workers.

Lovers of Twinkies, Ho Ho’s, Ding Dongs and Wonder Bread can rejoice!

The nightmare is over and Hostess lives to bake another day!

  1. This is good news for clinics that specialize in the treatment of morbidly obese diabetics. Not so good for the taxpayers who will have to support them after they become permanently disabled by age 35-40 and also pay for their healthcare for the rest of their lives.
